About Solano Maids
Hello, I'm Angela Barnett-Wilson, owner of Solano Maids. I started Solano Maids (formerly BOSS Janitorial & Cleaning Services) in 2005. Prior to beginning in the cleaning industry, I owned and operated Business Office Support Services (1998-2005), a home-based virtual assistant company providing administrative support, transcription and resume writing services to people and business owners throughout Solano County. My prior professional experience also includes working at U.C Berkeley Office of Technology Transfer as an Administrative Assistant, and as an Operations Manager at the former Bay Business Centers, Inc. a Bay Area executive leasing firm.
Following a less than satisfactory experience with the cleaning person I used for my own home, I told my husband, after spending half a day cleaning the house, "This is what I'm going to do!" Thus began the start of my journey into house cleaning. I absolutely LOVE what we do here at Solano Maids.
Company culture and core values are very important to Solano Maids. We want to ensure that each person employed by Solano Maids will embrace the vision and mission of the company. By doing so, each employee is able to effectively communicate and translate that knowledge by providing excellence in customer service for our clients. Our employees are provided ongoing training in safety, cleaning techniques and processes.
Vanessa Murphy is mom to an 18 month old son and on top of that, she is pursuing her Associates Degree in Medical Billing. A caring and sensitive person, Vanessa has a background in providing care to the elderly and physically disadvantaged. Vanessa goes over and beyond at every home she cleans, frequently rating in the 4's and 5's on Quality Assurance Cards returned by our satisfied clients.
